There is a large variety of colourful birds in Kenya. The avifauna of Kenya has a total of 1132 species.
A bird that we often see is the weaver, commonly known by their incredible nest-building skills. The male will make the nest and the female chooses which nest suits here the best. The nest is usally built in an acacia tree where a whole flock of birds is nesting. Another smart idea of the weaver is that they will built their nest at the end of a small branch. Hence a bird of prey cannot steal their eggs because the branch is to small to sit on.

Wat een diversiteit. De secretarisvogel mis ik maar die schrijft denk ik alles op. Opletten hoor er was ook een slang in beeld.
